Travis Tritt Thanks Atlanta Braves For Not "Caving To Wing Nut Cancel Culture" After Singing National Anthem

The Atlanta Braves are headed back to the World Series and country singer Travis Tritt is one of the many fans who's celebrating.

The Braves defeated the Dodgers in Game Six on Saturday night (October 23) 4-2, and they’ll be facing the Houston Astros in the Series.

However, prior to the game, there was a bit of controversy surrounding who the Atlanta Braves chose to perform the National Anthem.

Travis Tritt made headlines recently regarding his decision to cancel shows at any venue requiring a Covid vaccine or negative test. Despite the pressure for the Braves to find somebody else, they opted to stick with Travis Tritt as the Game 6 performer of our National Anthem.

He took to Twitter to thank the Braves organization for not “caving to the pressure” and allowing him to perform:
"So the wing nut cancel culture tried to pressure the Atlanta Braves into forcing me not to sing the National Anthem at Game 6 of the NLCS. I’m so thankful that the @braves did not cave to this pressure and refused to be bullied. Thanks for allowing me to pay tribute to America.????????."
