Willie Nelson will soon honor his friend and fellow music legend Frank Sinatra again with his new studio album, That’s Life out on February 26th.
The project includes covers made famous by Frank Sinatra and is the follow up to Nelson’s first Sinatra covers album, My Way released in 2018. That album earned Nelson a GRAMMY for Best Traditional Pop Solo Album.
The album was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood (where Sinatra recorded albums from March 1956 to November 1961).
The two were close friends and musical colleagues. In the 1980s, Sinatra opened for Nelson in Las Vegas and the pair appeared together in a PSA for NASA’s Space Foundation.
