After performing the powerful ballad "I'll Carry You Home" during the in memoriam segment of last week's ACM Awards, Trisha Yearwood has released a music video for the song.

 

The Boot reports Yearwood unveiled the moving video on Wednesday. In the video, the singer pays tribute to her supportive loved ones.

 

A press release says the clip honors the people "that have carried Yearwood home over the years, including her parents, sister and extended family."

 

It features vintage footage of warm and nostalgic family memories, including Yearwood as a baby. "I'll Carry You Home" is almost like a prayer," Yearwood says. "For me, it's very much about the people in my life that have my back, and also my strong spiritual belief that God's got me, no matter what. I believe that. It's really like a prayer. It's just one of the most beautiful songs that I've heard."

 

The song appears on her 2019 album Every Girl.
